Growing up in Ohio, Danielle explored storytelling through poetry writing and making movies using her father’s home video camera. Her passion led her to Film Studies at Wesleyan University followed by a post-graduate fellowship to study cinematography at the German Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
She served as the assistant camera for Oscar-nominated Director of Photography, Matthew Libatique, on films such as BLACK SWAN, RUBY SPARKS and COWBOYS & ALIENS. Danielle later worked at at Annapurna Pictures as a reader for Megan Ellison and as the company’s Creative Researcher, working with directors including Bennett Miller, David O. Russell, Angela Robinson and Chris Cunningham.
Danielle is currently in post on her first feature film, BLOW THE MAN DOWN, which she co-wrote and co-directed with Bridget Savage Cole. She has directed series and branded content for Microsoft and Comcast and she was the screenwriter for Sam Barlow 2018 interactive series, “#WarGames,” produced by MGM, Eko and Mssngpeces.
